Description
Aims: This workshop aims to enhance participants’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills in pediatric videolaryngoscopy and one-lung ventilation. By focusing on evidence-based techniques and hands-on training, the workshop will provide opportunities to learn different techniques for one-lung ventilation (double lumen tubes and bronchial blockers) while managing complex pediatric airways.
Objectives: By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Understand the indications, benefits, and limitations of videolaryngoscopy in pediatric airway management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using videolaryngoscopy equipment for airway management in children.
- Identify appropriate strategies and devices for one-lung ventilation in pediatric cases including double lumen tubes and bronchial blockers
- Apply best practices for troubleshooting common challenges during pediatric airway management by using these techniques
- Discuss recent advancements in pediatric videolaryngoscopy and one-lung ventilation.
